A Generation Defined
Character Revolution 13
A Program of the American Students' Fund

THOUGHTS FROM OUR PRINCIPALS

These principals have partnered with us in offering the ASF flagship program to their schools. With their support, we are already seeing positive results from the ASF clubs. We salute these principals for being such committed leaders in their schools and communities. Each of them has a deep desire to see the students of our country rise up and lead our nation with positve character and citizenship qualities.

Ms. Cheryl Pasteur, Principal ~ Randallstown High School.
"Its not enough just to have book sense. There must be a level of integrity and morals that guide our intelligence, as well as the things we do."

Ms. Deborah Phelps, Principal ~ Windsor Mill Middle School
"When you take a look at the American Students' Fund, and think about the uniqueness of the program, what's really special is how it is embedded through, not only the middle school, but also in the elementary and high school. The thirteen character traits, elected by the students of our community high school, that we wear so proudly on our official Windsor Mill Middle Wear, symbolizes the values that our school celebrates on a daily basis - not only on our school campus, but also throughout the community. "

Ms. Marcel Hall, Principal ~ Randallstown Elementary School
"On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of Randallstown Elementary School, we wish to extend a sincere thank you to the American Students' Fund for having this wonderful program at our school. The weekly character traits help our students to make good choices and decisions. It is our goal to continue to participate in the ASF program because we believe in the positive impact it is having on our students."

Jason Hartling ~ Principal, Northwestern High School
"We believe our mission at Northwestern High School is about more than academics, we are also about character. CHR13 is our partner in helping to build our students into real men and women of character."

Margie Reyment, Principal ~ Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School
"The Staff at Mergenthaler Vocational technical High School is very excited at implementing the CR13 program this school year. We are convinced that holding the staff and students to agreed and challenging expectations will help us all become better citizens and be more successful."

Ms. Nellie Slater, Principal ~ Woodbridge Elementary School
"The American Students' Fund character education program is not simply a lesson or course. It has become an integral part of Woodbridge Elementary School's daily life. With this intentional and thoughtful character education program, WES has become a community in which virtues such as responsibility, loyalty, honesty and leadership are taught, expected, celebrated and continually practiced. Woodbridge Elementary staff, students, and parents embrace the thirteen character traits developed by the community high school. The traits are shared on a daily basis, and students are rewarded for their positive behavior. We would like to thank the American Students' Fund for their commitment and support throughout the years."

Janice Williams ~ Principal, Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship
"Character education helps students achieve academic, career and personal/social development goals and become positive members of society. Inclusion of character education in the school curriculum helps students acquire the knowledge, skills and positive attitudes necessary for student achievement and success in life. At IBE we understand that the acquisition of positive character values promotes healthy student development. These universal values include such traits as honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship, which all affirm basic human worth and dignity and support healthy communities. This character education program (CR-13) will emphasize key social values and encourage IBE students to become responsible, contributing members of society. We're excited about it"
