JOHN R. YOUNG - Cofounder of the ASF


John R. Young is the co-founder of the American Students' Fund. A native of New Jersey, Mr. Young holds a BS degree in industrial engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and a MBA from Harvard. Long devoted to philanthropic endeavors, he serves on numerous advisory boards which include the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and the Baltimore Opera Company, for which he provided leadership as chairman of the board for five years. Mr. Young is the CEO of Oles Envelope Corporation, a closely held family firm with facilities in Baltimore and Puerto Rico. In 1998, Mr. Young founded the Jay and Carol Jean Young Foundation, which supports a wide variety of charitable causes.
