
Beth Nimmo is the mother of Columbine victim Rachel Joy Scott. In the aftermath of Columbine, Beth made the decision to be a proactive voice against violence as well as an advocate for young people. She has authored two books, Rachel's Tears and The Journals of Rachel Scott, and is currently a speaker abroad and in the United States. Other involvement includes being a board member of Life Choices, Rachel's Place, and Fight Crime-Invest in Kids. She has been featured on many TV shows such as Larry King Live, Oprah, and the John Walsh Show. She is commited to ASF in its quest to help young people develop and demonstrate the character attributes that will change their life for good, as well as influence their school and community to stand for what is excellent and right.
